Media Notes: ManU Launches Manchester United Official App

ManU and HCL Technologies, the club's official digital transformation partner, launched the Manchester United Official app on iOS and Android. Fox Sports is breaking the Dutch media law by broadcasting two football matches of Feyenoord and Vitesse on its encrypted channels, Fox Sports 1 and 2. Dutch media stipulates that all matches by Dutch clubs in the Europa League and Champions League must be broadcast on free-to-view channels (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 8/16).

Sony Pictures Networks India unveiled the #KoiKasarNahi (No stone will be left unturned) campaign for the 18th Asian Games to be held in Indonesia. As part of the campaign, SPN will be hosting a "Fan Flame" on its microsite. Inspired by the Asian Games torch that burns for the duration of the Games, the virtual Fan Flame will have messages of support "that will be passed on to the participating Indian athletes" (THE DRUM, 8/18).
