Media Notes: Amazon Prime To Stream All Laver Cup Matches

Amazon Prime Video will stream all Laver Cup matches live and on-demand to Prime members in more than 200 countries and territories in a landmark deal. The second edition of the Laver Cup will be staged at the United Center in Chicago from Sept. 21-23. Laver Cup content will be available across hundreds of devices on the Prime Video app for TVs, game consoles, OTT and connected devices, including Amazon Fire TV, mobile devices and online. Fox Sports will broadcast the Caribbean Premier League for another four years. The broadcaster will provide exclusive, live and commercial-free HD coverage of all 34 games starting on Thursday (Fox Sports). 

Ladbrokes Australia upgraded its accumulator betting product with the launch of a new customized platform in partnership with Sportcast. The Sportcast-powered Multiverse platform enables customers to combine any bet, "including new Same Game Multi and single bets" from any sport or racing event, all within the same accumulator (GAMING INTELLIGENCE, 8/8).

Sports data and technology specialist Genius Sports opened a new office in Lausanne, Switzerland. The company now has offices in over 20 locations worldwide including London, L.A. and Medellín, Colombia. Genius Sports’ Lausanne operation will be based inside the Maison du Sport Int'l (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 8/8).

Now TV announced a daily pass for Premier League fans in Hong Kong before the new season kicks off on Friday. Now TV, under its new OTT platform, Now E, has a plan that will "enable fans to use an all-day pass" to watch the Premier League and La Liga on the same day for HK$68 ($8.66). This is the first time that such a plan will be implemented and Now TV officials said that fans "can view games through their digital devices such as mobile phones, iPads and laptops" (SOUTH CHINA MORNING POST, 8/8).
