Media Notes: Eleven Sports Partners With Facebook In Ireland, U.K.

Eleven Sports named Facebook the network's free-to-air partner in the U.K. and Ireland. At least one match per week from La Liga and Serie A will be shown live and free of charge on Eleven Sports' U.K. Facebook page. A selection of games from the other top-flight football leagues available on Eleven Sports will also be shown on Facebook during the season (Eleven Sports). 

World Archery and Korean national broadcaster KBS agreed to a three-year media rights deal for exclusive Korean coverage of the Archery World Cup circuit and World Archery Championships on the broadcaster's linear and internet platforms. The agreement runs from '18-20, covering the lead-up and qualification period for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics (World Archery). 

Ginx Esports TV will launch as a pop-up channel on Sky in New Zealand from Aug. 13. The three-month pop-up will bring Ginx Esports TV to Sky Starter customers at no additional cost (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 8/6).
