Marketplace Roundup: ManU Partners With MoPlay

ManU announced a multi-year global partnership with mobile betting and gaming brand MoPlay. The parties will create exclusive collaborative content for fans and engage in co-branded global activations (ManU).

La Liga side Sevilla signed a sleeve sponsorship deal with Betfair, which becomes the club's official betting sponsor for the next two seasons. The betting firm's logo will also appear on the front of the team's training shirts (Sevilla).

The FA of Wales and Nathaniel MG Cars announced a new sponsorship deal for the Welsh Premier League Cup. The deal is "the biggest in the competition's history" and its name will remain the Nathaniel MG Cup for the next four seasons (THE BARRY GEM, 8/6).

Unibet will continue to serve as the title sponsor of the Champion Hurdle at The Festival until '23, "having replaced Kindred's Stan James brand as sponsor at this year's event in March." As part of the five-year deal, Unibet is also "continuing to back the Road to Cheltenham," four key races which take place ahead of the £450,000 ($582,200) G1 Unibet Champion Hurdle on March 12, 2019 (GAMING INTELLIGENCE, 8/6).

The FA of Malaysia secured a three-year sponsorship deal with engineering firm CustomCraft, which will invest almost $1.5M until '21. The deal "will come in handy in implementing several national football initiatives, including grassroots plans" (ASIA SPONSORSHIP NEWS, 8/4).

The Caribbean Premier League and KFC will partner for the '18 tournament, which runs from Wednesday through Sept. 16. KFC will introduce sales promotions based on its involvement with the CPL as it brings its customers "Chicken Played Louder" to celebrate its partnership with the Cricket Played Louder T20 event (LOOP JAMAICA, 8/2).
