Marketplace Roundup: Connacht Partners With Bank Of Ireland

Pro14 side Connacht Rugby and Bank of Ireland announced a three-year partnership in which the Bank of Ireland logo will be displayed on the back of Connacht's home, away, European and training jerseys (Connacht Rugby).

Brasileiro side São Paulo agreed to a sponsorship deal with video game developer Konami. The two-year agreement "will initially result in Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 game being promoted on the club's kit." The PES 2019 logo will be featured "on the chest area of the team's shirts" (SPORT BUSINESS, 8/2).

FIFA and the local organizing committee of the U20 Women's World Cup France 2018 and the FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019 welcomed French state-owned train company SNCF as an official national supporter of the two tournaments. SNCF is also the official national rail transporter for the two tournaments (FIFA).

UFC and Bethesda Softworks announced a partnership in the non-sports gaming space in Australia and New Zealand. UFC and Bethesda will work on various initiatives throughout the Oceanic region. In conjunction with this partnership, UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker, a lifelong gamer, was named a brand ambassador for Bethesda in Australia and New Zealand (UFC).

Russian esports organization Virtus.pro signed a sponsorship agreement with betting company Parimatch that will include branding on the team's jerseys, social media and website. The deal will remain in effect through '19 (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 8/2).
