Marketplace Roundup: Man City Signs Headset Maker Turtle Beach

Man City announced its first esports partnership with headset brand Turtle Beach. All Man City esports players will use Turtle Beach’s Elite line of professional gaming audio equipment as well as other Turtle Beach gear and accessories. The Turtle Beach range will be worn by Man City's esports players for the first time at the FIFA eWorld Cup this month (Man City).

The FA announced a three-year deal with British brand Mitre. The brand will be the FA's football supplier for three seasons, starting with the upcoming campaign (FA).

Ligue 1 side Monaco named Swiss watch manufacturer Rhöne its official watchmaker until the end of the '19-20 season. The Geneva-based brand will appear on LED signage at Stade Louis II as well as across the club's digital channels. A limited Monaco edition will be created by Rhöne (SOCCEREX, 8/1).

League Championship side Blackburn Rovers named Watson Ramsbottom Solicitors the club's back-of-shirt sponsor for the '18-19 season. The organization's logo will be on the club's home and away shirts for the upcoming season (LANCASHIRE TELEGRAPH, 7/31).

League Championship side Bolton Wanderers announced its stadium, previously known as The Reebok & The Macron, will now be known as The University of Bolton Stadium (LION OF VIENNA SUITE, 8/1).

Warwickshire County Cricket Club agreed to a partnership with Air India at England’s first match of the test series against India, which started at Edgbaston on Wednesday. Air India will have perimeter branding throughout the test (Birmingham Airport).

Premier League side Leicester City announced a multi-year global partnership agreement with ThaiBev. The Thailand-based beverage producer's subsidiary company, Vietnamese beer brand Bia Saigon, will become the club's official sleeve sponsor. Bia Saigon's branding will appear throughout King Power Stadium as well as on interview backdrops and advertising boards (Leicester City).

Esports-based cryptocurrency company Esports Ecosystem will be one of the sponsors for the Evo Championship Series. Cygames and NISSIN Cup Noodles also sponsor the event (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 8/1).
