Media Notes: Dugout Partners With Mailman For Push Into China

Digital football platform Dugout partnered with sports consultancy Mailman "to distribute its original and branded content in China and expand its global presence." Mailman will localize, customize and distribute Dugout content to Chinese audiences across platforms including Weibo and Douyin. Mailman will use its platform, technology, studio and network throughout China to promote Dugout across the country (THE DRUM, 7/7).

Eleven Sports Network will be taken off air by Singtel TV at the end of July. London-based Eleven is owned by Aser, a company founded by Italian businessman and League Championship side Leeds United Owner Andrea Radrizzani, who is also vice-chair and founder of MP & Silva. Its channel on Singtel TV went live in '15, airing sports content like the Serie A, English FA Cup and English Football League Cup (THE DRUM, 7/6).

London-based production company FACEIT will broadcast the upcoming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive FACEIT Minors on YouTube and Twitch. The broadcast will also be available on an in-game viewer within the CS:GO client. The deal is "notable for its inclusion of two broadcast platforms" (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 7/6).

Mobile app developer Live.me launched a dedicated mobile gaming livestreaming platform called Fluxr. As part of Fluxr's launch, Live.me Inc. partnered with Tencent and PUBG Corp. for a series of PUBG Mobile esports tournaments. The platform was created "in response to the popularity of gaming content on the company’s traditional live broadcast app LiveMe" (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 7/5).
