Eurosport Increases Digital Offering For Tour De France

Eurosport will offer 25 hours of exclusive content "across most of Europe" and "enhanced digital coverage" of the 105th Tour de France, according to Robert Briel of BROADBAND TV NEWS. Every stage will be available in its entirety on Eurosport TV and online via the Eurosport Player, eurosport.com and the integrated Eurosport app. Coverage of the Tour de France on the Eurosport Player includes six additional live camera streams, five motorbike cameras following every move in the peloton and a finish line feed. Viewers can also view uninterrupted and advertising-free coverage, exclusive Tour de France programming and "full catch-up service of every stage." To support Eurosport's increased digital offering, a free seven-day trial of the Eurosport Player will be available across Europe throughout the 2018 Tour de France. This year, Eurosport will produce "more local coverage" of the Tour de France in France, Germany, Sweden, the U.K. and, for the first time, Poland (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 7/7).
