Media Notes: Borussia Dortmund Partners With Esports.com

Borussia Dortmund agreed to a partnership with recently-launched platform esports.com, "following in the footsteps" of fellow Bundesliga side Cologne, which signed a "similar deal." The agreement "is due to last for three years," with Borussia Dortmund Managing Dir Carsten Cramer and esports.com CEO Michael Broda announcing offers for the club’s fans on the portal (SOCCEREX, 6/28).

Greek broadcaster Nova secured the rights to "all the main French football competitions" for the '18-19 season. Novasports subscribers will be able to watch Ligue 1, the Trophée des Champions and the Coupe de la Ligue (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 6/28).

Vermantia and the Arena Racing Company launched the European Racing Channel, with plans to broadcast more than 40,000 thoroughbred and greyhound races every year from racecourses across the globe. The Athens-based company said on Wednesday that it "planned to produce and distribute the channel" from its own content hub. It is set to include 15 hours or more of live racing content, "expected to cover the retail hours of European gambling operators" (GAMBLING INSIDER, 6/27).

One News Page launched a section of its news portal dedicated exclusively to breaking news and results from Wimbledon. Fans of the tournament will be able to catch up on the latest wins, losses, faults and aces all from one dedicated page. Visitors to One News Page can currently access the Wimbledon section from the site's home page (One News Page).

Mycujoo and Beach Soccer Worldwide signed a partnership for the live streaming of 1,500 matches from '18-21. Beach Soccer has an estimated audience of 250 million households (mycujoo).
