Second Bundesliga Side Cologne Partners With Esports.com

Second Bundesliga side Cologne signed a deal with esports.com, "a new website covering the fast-growing scene," according to SOCCEREX. The deal with esports.com is Cologne's second with an esports business, following its partnership with SK Gaming at the end of January. The deal is a "sequential strategic partnership, raising awareness of the recently-launched portal." The partnership will involve data and assistance being exchanged, as well as "a bid for increased brand awareness on both sides" (SOCCEREX, 6/27). CRYPTO DAILY reported such a strategic partnership "could result in an increase of the trading volume and price for the Esports Reward Token," currently being traded on HitBTC and several other exchanges. Early adopters of the ERT token "will benefit from a price increase and price stability, showing real prospects and future" for the ERT. Meanwhile, esports.com is working toward "perfecting" its platform. New features are expected to be introduced by the end of the summer, "and even more by the end of the year" (CRYPTO DAILY, 6/26).
