Everton CEO Barrett-Baxendale Unveils New Leadership Team

Everton CEO Denise Barrett-Baxendale outlined the key roles of the execs who will form the club's new-look leadership team. The "Everton Leadership team" comprises nine exec director-level positions and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations across the club, supporting the board of directors and new Dir of Football Marcel Brands. David Harrison was promoted from head of football operations to director of football operations. Richard Kenyon will take on an expanded role to become director of marketing, communications & community. Kenyon, who was appointed as Everton's director of marketing & communications in '14, will also become CEO of Everton in the Community. Grant Ingles will rejoin the club in July as finance director. Ingles served in that role from '13-17 before joining Liverpool, where he is currently head of finance. Alan McTavish was named commercial director. Ingles and McTavish will form part of the new commercial & finance department led by board member and newly-appointed Chief Finance & Commercial Officer Sasha Ryazantsev. Later this month, Peter Shaw, whose experience includes 10 years at Liverpool, will take over as director of operations. Everton also announced the appointments of Academy Dir Joel Waldron, Dir of Risk & Governance Paul McNicholas and People Dir Kim Healey (Everton).
