Australian Football League side Melbourne Demons appointed former Collingwood CEO GARY PERT to take over from PETER JACKSON as CEO. Pert, 53, resigned as Magpies CEO midway through last year after a decade with the club as it “underwent an internal review that led to significant changes throughout the club.” He is understood to have "beaten a field of internal candidates" that included Demons Football Manager JOSH MAHONEY, CFO DAVID CHIPPINDALL and Commercial Operations Manager GEORGE DE CRESPIGNY.
