Event Notes: ManU Will Play Bayern Munich In Germany On Aug. 5

ManU will travel to Germany to play Bayern Munich in its final preseason friendly ahead of the '18-19 season. The match will take place at the Allianz Arena on Aug. 5. The trip to Bavaria follows five games in the U.S. for ManU, which will face Liga MX side Club América, Major League Soccer club San Jose Earthquakes, AC Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid during the U.S. tour (SKY SPORTS, 6/11).

The Harlem Globetrotters and the Beijing Aspiring Integrated Marketing Company announced a five-year partnership that will bring the Globetrotters back to China next month. The two-week tour of China, which will begin on July 6 in Baotou, continues the team's ongoing global touring itinerary. Last week, the Globetrotters wrapped their annual tour of Europe, a 13-week tour in which they played 74 games in 17 countries. The team also recently wrapped a 10-city tour of Australia in April as part of a strategic partnership with Australia's National Basketball league (Harlem Globetrotters).
