Marketplace Roundup: French Football Federation Renews With KFC

The French Football Federation renewed its sponsorship with fast food chain KFC. The deal will see KFC sponsor French football for the next five years, through '23. KFC also expanded its partnership to include the men's and women's Coupes de France (FFF).

The Evolution Championship Series (Evo) -- the largest fighting game tournament of the year -- announced a partnership with Japanese developer Cygames. The developer will become a presenting partner of Evo 2018 and "will have a dedicated booth at the tournament to showcase its digital card game Shadowverse" (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 6/7).

The Irish women’s field hockey team announced finance automation software provider SoftCo will sponsor the team for the 2018 World Cup in London. The sponsorship includes the upcoming "SoftCo Series" World Cup preparation matches against Canada taking place in Pembroke Wanderers Hockey Club on June 15 and 16 (HOOK HOCKEY, 6/6).
