Mexican Players Partied With Prostitutes, TVNotas Claims

After the Mexican national team's recent friendly against Scotland, TvNotas reported eight of the team's players attended a party "to which 30 prostitutes were invited," according to LIBERTAD DIGITAL. An anonymous source said, "I saw them. They arrived at the house around 10:30 at night and they had a very good time with music, drinks, games and women. They had the night free, without their wives and girlfriends." Mexican Football Federation (FMF) Secretary General Guillermo Cantú said, "These are the risks one runs with freedom. It's not that we like it or not, it just has to be made clear that it was a free day and they have not missed a training session or meeting" (LIBERTAD DIGITAL, 6/6). ESPN.com reported Mexico's Carlos Salcedo posted on Instagram, "The jealous person invents a rumor, the gossip spreads it and the idiot believes it" (ESPN.com, 6/6).
