COACHES/MANAGERS: League Championship side Swansea City appointed GRAHAM POTTER as the club’s new manager after agreeing to a compensation package with Swedish club Ostersund in a move that "signals an intent to return to an emphasis on technical coaching and possession-based football." Swansea agreed to personal terms with Potter, along with his assistant, BILLY REID, and recruitment analyst, KYLE MACAULEY (London INDEPENDENT, 6/4). ... DARREN FERGUSON resigned as manager of League One club Doncaster Rovers. He said that he made his decision "after recent discussions with the board" (BBC, 6/4). ... Ascenso MX side Juárez named GABRIEL CABALLERO its head coach. Caballero's most recent experience was with Ascenso MX side Tapachula (MEDIO TIEMPO, 6/4).
