Marketplace Roundup: Worcester Warriors Name VX3 Kit Partner

Premiership Rugby side Worcester Warriors announced rugby brand VX3 as the club's official kit partner. VX3 will provide matchday and training wear for the first team, academy and Worcester Valkyries. The brand will also produce a replica range. The club also announced online rugby store Lovell Rugby as its training and leisurewear partner to deliver the club's retail (Worchester Warriors). 

League Two side Coventry City signed a one-year shirt sponsorship deal with digital office supplier Midrepro. The company also sponsors Rugby Championship club Coventry RFC and the Coventry Blaze ice hockey team (COVENTRY TELEGRAPH, 6/5).

Bayern Munich announced a partnership with Croatian tourist region Istria. The agreement aims to promote the region, particularly among Bayern fans. There will be joint marketing campaigns for the region using Bayern's digital channels as well as joint special events in Istria (Bayern Munich). 

National Basketball League side New Zealand Breakers partnered with IPZ and Zito Partners to assist in its branding and marketing efforts (NZ Breakers). 

The Int'l Cricket Council on Tuesday announced a new three-year partnership with Australian winemaker Wolf Blass. The company will become the official wine partner of the ICC World Cup 2019 and ICC World T20 in Australia in '20 (ANI, 6/5).

The Tour de France signed French recruiting company Adecco as the official recruiter of the race. The partnership starts with this year's event on July 7 and will run through '20 (Adecco).  

Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg announced the German section of telecom Vodafone will be the main sponsor for its esports team. Wolfsburg was the first Bundesliga team to enter esports in '15 (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 6/5).

Nestlé’s Lion Cereal partnered with the League of Legends Open Tour France. Run by Riot Games, the League of Legends Open Tour is a semi-pro tournament circuit consisting of seven offline tournaments in France throughout '18. With support from Riot Games, the French cereal brand held a "Wildest Fan" contest to send 100 fans to the 2017 EU LCS Spring Split Championship (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 6/5).
