ManU Tops KPMG's List Of Europe's Most Valuable Clubs

ManU was again named the most valuable European football club, with a value of about €3.25B ($3.8B), KPMG found, according to Bill Wilson of the BBC. The English club tops KPMG's study of top sides' "enterprise value," ahead of Real Madrid and Barcelona. The study, based on the '15-16 and '16-17 seasons, "studied profitability, broadcasting rights, popularity, sporting potential and stadium value." In the analysis of 32 major teams, Premier League clubs "fill six of the top 10 places." This year, 12 clubs were valued in excess of €1B ($1.2B), two more than in '17. Six clubs reported an "enterprise value" above €2B ($2.3B): three from the Premier League, two from Spain and one from Germany. The top 10 clubs' "enterprise value," per KPMG:
