La Liga side Levante named LUIS HELGUERA its new technical secretary. He signed a one-year deal and replaces CARMELO DEL POZO (AS, 5/21). ... Liga MX side Tigres UANL President ALEJANDRO RODRÍGUEZ announced his resignation after "eight successful years." He will be replaced by MIGUEL ÁNGEL GARZA (LA AFICIÓN, 5/22). ... Sunderland, which was relegated to League One for the '18-19 season, announced the departure of CEO MARTIN BAIN "after making the position redundant." Bain was appointed to the role in May '16 but left the club following the completion of STEWART DONALD's £40M ($53.7M) takeover on Monday (PA, 5/22). ... Former Liverpool CEO IAN AYRE was named the first CEO of Nashville's Major League Soccer club, whose owner, JOHN INGRAM, said, "He's always been my number one choice. I'm just thrilled that this was attractive to him" (USA TODAY, 5/21). ... ADRIAN BEVINGTON was appointed as League Championship side Middlesbrough's new head of recruitment operations. The former FA exec spent a short period on the board at Aston Villa in '16 to "help advise and oversee the changing of owners" (BIRMINGHAM MAIL, 5/22). ... Former Ireland national men’s rugby team head coach DECLAN KIDNEY is the new director of rugby at relegated London Irish. Kidney has been a technical consultant with the club since March. Former London Irish Rugby Dir NICK KENNEDY left in March with the club at the "bottom" of the Premiership table (BBC, 5/22).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund appointed LUCIEN FAVRE as manager until '20. The 60-year-old Swiss "takes up the post" after leaving French club Nice following the end of the Ligue 1 season. He takes over from PETER STOGER (BBC, 5/22). ... Super League side Wigan Warriors coach SHAUN WANE announced a "shock decision" to leave his hometown club after 36 years. The 53-year-old began his playing career with Wigan in '82 and has become its "longest-serving coach of the Super League era" (London INDEPENDENT, 5/21). ... League One side Plymouth Argyle Manager DEREK ADAMS and coaches PAUL WOTTON, KEVIN NANCEKIVELL and RHYS WILMOT all agreed to new contracts with the club (BBC, 5/22). ... La Liga side Celta Vigo named ANTONIO MOHAMED its coach, replacing JUAN CARLOS UNZUÉ. Mohamed resigned as coach of Liga MX side Monterrey last week (AS, 5/22).
