Valencia Makes Deloitte 'Strategic Ally' For Move To New Stadium

La Liga side Valencia on Monday signed an agreement with Deloitte, which becomes a "strategic ally" in the process for the club's move to a new stadium ahead of the '20-21 season, according to Fernando Álvarez of MARCA. Club sources said that the deal with Deloitte "represents a step forward" in order for the new Mestalla "to be completed in time for that season." The "four fundamental aspects of the agreement" are the global financing of the operation, the sale of the land of the existing Estadio Mestalla, supervision of the completion of the new stadium and the business plan and sale of the new ground (MARCA, 5/21).
