Marketplace Roundup: F1, Emirates Renew Partnership Through '22

Formula 1 and airline Emirates renewed and expanded their partnership through '22. Emirates has been an F1 global partner since '13. The renewed agreement will include an expanded branding and consumer activation presence at races across Europe, Asia, Australasia, North America and South America. It also includes Emirates being the title sponsor of the Spanish Grand Prix, which was held over the weekend, and the German Grand Prix scheduled from July 20-22 (F1).

The Argentine FA named Nissan Argentina its official vehicle sponsor of the Argentine national football team at all levels. The contract with Nissan will last for three years, with the manufacturer providing the Argentine FA with a fleet of vehicles (AFA).

Sohu-owned online football media platform Zutan Oumei Hui reported a sponsorship deal between Chinese wooden furniture and floor maker Der and the Argentine FA "is in the pipeline" (ASIA SPONSORSHIP NEWS, 5/10).

Euroleague Basketball agreed to a sponsorship deal with coffee brand Caffè Buscaglione for the upcoming Final Four in Belgrade (Euroleague).

The Int'l Surfing Association renewed its multi-year partnership with Vissla, making the surf brand the title sponsor of the World Junior Surfing Championship through '20. Additionally, the ISA announced Huntington Beach, Calif., will host the '18 edition from Oct. 27-Nov. 4 (ISA).

The Event Rider Masters announced Noble Outfitters UK as the series' official clothing supplier. The omni-channel equestrian lifestyle brand will develop and introduce to market a range of ERM-branded clothing (ERM).
