Marketplace Roundup: Crystal Palace Names Puma As New Kit Supplier

EPL side Crystal Palace announced Puma as its new kit supplier. The German brand replaces Macron, which had supplied the team since '14. The new partnership will start with the '18-19 season (Crystal Palace). 

Premiership Rugby side Harlequins partnered with Maserati GB to become the official automotive partner of the London club. The deal will see Maserati and Harlequins work together to curate fan experiences (BUSINESS LEADER, 5/8).

European online sports betting operator Unibet announced it will be the platinum sponsor of the 101st edition of Giro D'Italia. This year's event started in Israel and is continuing through Italy across 21 stages in 24 days (SBC NEWS, 5/10).

The Int'l Volleyball Federation (FIVB) partnered with global brand strategy and design firm Landor to create the Volleyball Nations League. For the first time, men and women will compete in the same competition, represented by the 16 best teams worldwide (FIVB). 

Britain's top ranked male tennis player, Kyle Edmund, hired Soapbox London as his first PR agency. The firm will manage Edmund's social media and PR strategy alongside Edmund's agent, StarWing Sports (PR WEEK, 5/10).

The New Zealand Rugby League announced major sponsor Pirtek extended its sponsorship of the Kiwis for the next four years, including the 2021 Rugby League World Cup (NZRL).
