Boca Juniors Names Qatar Airways Its Shirt Sponsor

Argentine Superliga side Boca Juniors announced Qatar Airways will be its jersey sponsor from the '18-19 season through '22-23. Qatar Airways is currently the official airline partner of FIFA and Formula E (Qatar Airways). LOS ANDES reported Qatar Airways was the shirt sponsor of Barcelona from '13-14 through '16-17. How Boca Juniors' shirt featuring the Qatar Airways logo will look has not been revealed, "but possibilities are circulating on social media." The airline will replace BBVA as Boca Juniors' shirt sponsor. The value of the deal was not revealed (LOS ANDES, 5/8).
