Media Notes: STATS Announces Five-Year Deal With NRL

STATS announced a five-year agreement with the National Rugby League as the official data provider. STATS will expand its statistics collection to include men's and women's live and post-match data for 1,357 matches across 24 int'l, national, state and age-grade competitions ranging from NRL's Premiership to U16 junior representatives (STATS). 

Euroleague Basketball announced a multi-year agreement with FloSports to be the EuroLeague's and EuroCup's official distribution partner in North America. The deal enables FloSports to provide live and on-demand coverage of more than 250 EuroLeague and 180 EuroCup games on FloHoops.com. As the new home for EuroLeague and the EuroCup, FloHoops' coverage includes the entire regular season and postseason for the '18-19 and '19-20 seasons, including playoffs and championships. During the '17-18 season, FloSports will also cover all EuroLeague Final Four gamesfrom May 18-20 in Belgrade (Euroleague Basketball). 

Slovak public broadcaster RTVS introduced an HbbTV service to cover the Ice Hockey World Championship, which is currently taking place in Denmark. RTVS said that the service is being produced in cooperation with national transmission company Towercom (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 5/7).
