Marketplace Roundup: Glasgow 2018 Signs Arco As Sponsor

Safety company Arco was announced as the official uniform provider to the Glasgow 2018 European Championships. Arco will provide uniforms for thousands of volunteers and staff working across 12 venues around Scotland during the new multi-sport event taking place from Aug. 2-12 (Glasgow 2018). 

Championship Rugby side Hull Kingston Rovers announced Motordepot Car Supermarket as its main shirt sponsor for the '19 season. The car dealer has bases in Hull and Hessle, and will also become the club's shirt sponsor for the Magic Weekend clash with Super League side Hull FC in Newcastle on May 20 (HULL DAILY MAIL, 5/3).

Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund and Puma announced the motto "The Pulse of Dortmund" to present the new home shirt for next season. The chest area of the shirt, which retains the yellow color, is defined by a pulse graphic. Alongside the graphic, embroidered BVB and Puma logos and lettering of shirt sponsor Evonik are featured on the shirt (Puma). 

Sports and lifestyle accessories specialist Bollé signed a sponsorship for Team CCB Foundation-Sicleri cycling. The partnership with CCB Foundation-Sicleri gives Bollé an on-the-ground presence at major events on the '18 racing calendar. The team will use the brand's The One Premium helmet (ENDURANCE BUSINESS, 5/3).

The Tourism Product Development Company is the latest company to "come on board" and sponsor the Jamaica Int'l Invitational Meet (JAMAICA OBSERVER, 5/6).
