KSV ESports Announces Complete Rebrand To Gen.G

Esports organization KSV eSports announced it "completed a full rebrand," according to Trent Murray of THE ESPORTS OBSERVER. The company changed its name to Generation Gaming, and its teams will compete under the abbreviated title Gen.G. The organization acquired the '17 world champion League of Legends team from Samsung in November of last year. The LoL team, along with the organization's Heroes of the Storm and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds teams, will compete under the new name, logo and colors. Along with the rebrand, Gen.G announced that it will "expand into the mobile esports title Clash Royale." Although the majority of Gen.G’s teams and offices are based in Korea, it will join the Clash Royale League in China -- "with the company having opened offices in Shanghai last year" (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 5/3).
