Media Notes: Ulster Rugby Bans News Journalists From Presser

News journalists were "precluded from attending" Pro14 side Ulster Rugby's weekly press conference at the Kingspan Stadium on Tuesday. The club was "unhappy with the tone and line of questioning taken by a number of news reporters" relating to the court case involving former players Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding "across a variety of topics" at a press conference on Easter Monday (IRISH TIMES, 4/24).

Advisors Media Int'l acquired the rights to La Liga "in a number of Central and Eastern European and Central Asian countries" from August. The contract is for three to five years and covers Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 4/23).
