Marketplace Roundup: Coral Renews Sponsorship Of Coral-Eclipse

Betting Company Coral extended its sponsorship of the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown Park for a further five years, and the race will be run for a record £750,000 ($1.04M) this summer -- an increase of £250,000 ($349,350) compared to last year. The Coral-Eclipse is the longest-running sponsored Pattern race in Britain. The '18 edition will be the 43rd running as the Coral-Eclipse and the partnership will run through '22 (RACKING UK, 4/24).

Esports tournament owner and media company RFRSH Entertainment and Lagardère Sports will extend and adapt their current cooperation, with Lagardère Sports appointed as the exclusive partnership sales house of the firm. The partnership entails all sales and promotion around global Counter-Strike tournament BLAST Pro Series and esports teams Astralis and Heroic, which are manged and operated by RFRSH Entertainment (Lagardère Sports).
