RTL Subsidiary M6 Acquires Minority Stake In Glory4Gamers

One of the world’s "leading producers" in TV content, European entertainment company RTL Group's French TV network subsidiary, M6, "has taken a minority stake in Glory4Gamers, an amateur esports competition organizer," according to Thiemo Bräutigam of THE ESPORTS OBSERVER. Glory4Gamers is a French startup that was founded in '12. The platform boasts more than 500 online tournaments every week (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 3/20).

IN ISRAEL: BROADBAND TV NEWS' Robert Briel reported Ginx Esports TV will launch on Hot Telecommunications in Israel. Ginx Esports TV, which launched on Wednesday, features esports tournaments "together with news, lifestyle, documentary and presenter-led live shows" filmed and produced at its London HQ (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 3/20).
