The German Volleyball Federation (DVV) announced NICOLE FETTING will be its secretary general from '19. Fetting most recently worked for Bundesliga Volleyball club VC Wiesbaden as managing director (DVV). ... League One side Bristol Rovers named Plymouth Argyle's MARTYN STARNES its new CEO. A former CEO at Swindon Town and Yeovil Town, Starnes will "continue his role with Plymouth" until joining Rovers on July 9 (BBC, 3/19).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Spanish second division side Granada sacked Manager JOSÉ LUIS OLTRA and announced PEDRO MORILLA as his replacement. Morilla will coach the team for the rest of the season (MARCA, 3/19). ... La Liga side Real Sociedad sacked coach EUSEBIO SACRISTÁN on Sunday. The club made the move after Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to Getafe left it 15th in La Liga, 12 points above the relegation places with nine games left (PA, 3/19). ... Former Black Cap SHANE BOND was named coach of Big Bash League club Sydney Thunder. The 42-year-old was assistant coach of the Brisbane Heat during the last BBL season but "will move to Sydney on a three-year contract," the franchise announced. Bond played 18 tests, 82 ODIs and 20 T20 internationals for New Zealand before retiring in '10 (STUFF, 3/19). ... League Two side Barnet sacked head coach GRAHAM WESTLEY and reappointed MARTIN ALLEN as manager. Westley, 50, "was in charge for just over two months after arriving" on Jan. 15 but won only two of his 11 games in charge. Barnet Head of Technical MARK MCGHEE also left the club (BBC, 3/19).
