Marketplace Roundup: CFG Partners With CAA Sports

City Football Group increased its commercial representation reach via a partnership with CAA Sports. CFG’s club platform has become "increasingly global" with A-League’s Melbourne City FC, La Liga’s Girona, J.League’s Yokohama F Marinos, and the Uruguayan Primera Division’s CA Torque, alongside Man City and MLS side NYCFC. CAA Sports' brief is to "develop global partnerships alongside CFG's in-house sales team" (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 1/29).

Bundesliga side Bayern 04 Leverkusen and Jako extended their partnership. The club and the sports equipment manufacturer agreed to a new deal this week that sees Jako extending its kit supply contract for four more years through June 30, 2022 (Bayern 04 Leverkusen).

The European Tour announced Glasgow Airport as an official supporter of the Glasgow 2018 European Championships. The European Golf Team Championships will take place at the Gleneagles PGA Centenary Course in Perth & Kinross (European Tour).

England Rugby and Virgin Active launched "Fit for Rugby," a rugby-inspired fitness program and online training hub as part of their new partnership. The program is for men and women across all levels of ability, whether they play rugby or not, with the aim to improve skills and enhance physical and mental wellness (England Rugby).

La Liga side Alavés named Integra Energía its shorts sponsor for the remainder of the current season and throughout '18-19. Integra's logo made its debut on the Alavés uniform during Sunday's loss to Barcelona (Alavés).
