Adidas Enlists Star Athletes, Musicians, Artists For New 'Calling All Creators' Spot

Adidas "calls on a plethora of stars from sports and beyond" in the latest addition to its “Here to Create” campaign, according to Erik Oster of AD WEEK. Created in partnership with agency 72andSunny, “Calling All Creators” features athletes such as Lionel Messi, WNBA side Connecticut Sun forward Chiney Ogwumike, NBA Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard, NWSL side Portland Thorns midfielder Lindsey Horan, NFL Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and MLB Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa, "to name a few." It also "reaches beyond the realm of sports," with appearances by rapper Pusha T, musician/producer Pharrell Williams, fashion designer Alexander Wang and supermodel Karlie Kloss. The ad brings "all these stars to the table together (with some noticeable pans underneath said table to focus on their shiny new Adidas) to deliver the brand’s manifesto piece by piece." The ad made its debut on the brand's YouTube channel on Wednesday and will roll out to "some 33 countries worldwide." Following its introduction online, the spot will debut in theaters in the U.S. on Friday and on TV during Christmas Day NBA games (AD WEEK, 12/20).
