Marketplace Roundup: Gold Coast Titans Confirm TFH Hire Services As Principal Partner

National Rugby League side Gold Coast Titans confirmed TFH Hire Services as its principal partner for the '18 season. The company, which holds the naming rights for the Titans' Parkwood training base, signed a one-year sponsorship deal with the club, with an option to extend in the future. The club has been "without a major sponsor since November after Aquis decided not to take up an option on its naming rights deal." That left a A$1.2M ($920,000) "hole" in the budget (GOLD COAST BULLETIN, 12/17).

A-League side Sydney FC will be Sky Blue "in name only" in the 2018 Asian Champions League after the club unveiled its new jersey for the tournament, "abandoning" its primary color for the first time. Sydney FC will "wear a mostly white home jersey" during its fourth foray into Asia after "strict regulations about clashing kits" prompted the club to make the "bold decision" to abandon its colors (THE AGE, 12/18).

Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais extended its deal with Hyundai through '20. The two have been partners since '12. The club unveiled a special jersey for the occasion (OL).

La Liga side Sevilla signed a five-year sponsorship agreement with Heineken-owned beer brand Cruzcampo. As the official beer of the club, Cruzcampo will receive exclusivity in commercialization and consumption of products (Sevilla).

La Liga side Athletic Bilbao named French brand Champagne Ayala its official champagne. Athletic Bilbao's branding will appear on Champagne Ayala bottles (Athletic Bilbao).
