DREW HAWKINS is leaving his role as managing director of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management's global sports & entertainment division. A Morgan Stanley spokesperson confirmed his pending departure, but declined further questions. Hawkins formed the group in Nov. '14, and it "quickly grew to includes hundreds of athletes." It is "unclear why Hawkins left or if Morgan Stanley will continue in the space" (Daniel Kaplan, Staff Writer). ... Octagon Exec VP ANDRÉ SCHUNK shifted to a fellow IPG-owned firm, media analytics consultancy Futures Sport + Entertainment, where he will be GM/Americas. Schunk was an SBJ/SBD "Forty Under 40" honoree in '15. Schunk takes over the role previously held by CATIE GRIGGS, who left FS+E in August to join Major League Soccer side Atlanta United (THE DAILY). ... CHANDIKA HATHURUSINGHA resigned from his role as head coach of the Bangladesh national cricket team. The Sri Lankan, 49, had been in charge since '14 and led the team to maiden test wins over England and Australia (BBC, 11/10).
