Commonwealth Games England Appoints Salad To Create Digital Experience

Commonwealth Games England appointed brand and communication agency Salad to "design and build a first-in-class digital experience that will unite Team England fans in the run up to Gold Coast 2018," according to Rebecca Levy of THE DRUM. Salad -- which won a Lovie Award for the fully responsive race viewer for Clipper Race -- "pitched against a number of agencies to win the website project which will showcase its new visual brand identity." The partnership will see an interactive website showcasing "exclusive information" about Team England athletes. CGE Head of Media & Communications Peter Hannon said, "We want to create an online experience with content that resonates with fans and inspires new ones. The Games on the Gold Coast next year are a huge opportunity for us and we want to make our new website a key destination for information on Team England." A "first glimpse" of the new website will viewable by the new year (THE DRUM, 11/6).
