La Liga Names El Corte Inglés Official Travel Agency, Announces La Liga Genuine

La Liga named travel agency El Corte Inglés a principal sponsor of La Liga and the Spanish second division for the rest of the current season. The agency will have a brand presence at the more than 700 games remaining in '17-18. El Corte Inglés was also named La Liga's official travel agency. The agreement will allow El Corte Inglés to market official La Liga products at its offices and organize various types of events and promotions with its clients (La Liga). SUPERDEPORTE reported La Liga President Javier Tebas and Villarreal President Fernando Roig announced the La Liga Genuine competition, an initiative promoted to bring intellectually disabled fans closer to "sports in general and football in particular." Villarreal's sporting complex will be one of four sites that will host the 18-team tournament (SUPERDEPORTE, 10/7).
