Marketplace Roundup: PSG Reaches Record Sales, Could Run Out Of Neymar Shirts

Paris St. Germain "could sensationally run out of Neymar shirts after hitting record-high sales." The club has been "inundated with orders over the last 30 days with over 120,000 Neymar jerseys being sold, raking in the club" more than £7.8M ($10.6M). Its club shop has already seen a 75% increase in sales from this time last season, "which is thought to be inspired by the Brazilian's arrival" (London DAILY MAIL, 9/17).

Russian Premier League side Rubin Kazan announced New Balance will be its new kit supplier. The club is "thought to have been disappointed with the quality of kits" provided by Jako, and "subsequently terminated a contract with the German manufacturer" which was due to run until the end of the '17-18 campaign. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed (SOCCEREX, 9/15).

Serie A side AS Roma renewed its partnership with healthcare company the San Raffaele Group until '19. The Italian company "will provide medical and health care" during the club's matches, standing as Roma's official partner throughout the '17-18 and '18-19 seasons (SOCCEREX, 9/15).

The Asian Golf Industry Federation announced a partnership with sports drainage specialist Capillary Concrete. The company is part-owned by Swedish former golfer Annika Sörenstam and golf course superintendent Martin Sternberg (AGIF).

McLaren Technology Group announced global IT firm Wipro as its official technology provider to help drive digitalization across its business (McLaren).

Davis Cup organizers signed a partnership with freight delivery company DPD France for the semifinal matches between France and Serbia at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium in Lille. The company received branding on court backdrops and a DPD France ad ran on France Télévisions throughout the weekend (SPORTBUZZ BUSINESS, 9/15).
