Marketplace Roundup: Cricketer Virat Kohli To Launch Athleisure Brand With Puma

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is "set to launch a new athletic leisure brand with Puma this November," according to a top Puma exec. The Kohli-inspired line is "targeted at Indian millennials," who are "likely to fuel" the forecast $8B in the nation's sports and athleisure apparel market by '20 (ASIA SPONSORSHIP NEWS, 9/8).

The South African FA and chemicals company Sasol on Thursday announced an extension of their sponsorship to "further develop women's football." The partnership will continue until June '21 (SOUTH AFRICAN BROADCASTING CORP., 9/8).

Serie A side Bologna and Italian manufacturer Comet confirmed their partnership renewal for the '17-18 season. Comet will serve as the club's top partner and will put on a number of joint initiatives for Bologna supporters (Bologna).
