Marketplace Roundup: Bundesliga Side Cologne Renews With Kit Sponsor REWE

Bundesliga side Cologne and kit sponsor REWE agreed to extend their partnership for at least three years. REWE will remain on the front of the club's kit through '21. The two sides did not disclose any figures. The REWE Group has been the main sponsor of Cologne since '07 (Cologne). 

Spanish Basketball League (ACB) club Real Madrid named the European University of Madrid a sponsor for the upcoming season. The deal was presented on Wednesday. The university's logo will appear on the front of the team's shirts (MARCA, 9/6).

NBA China announced a long-term partnership with Scotch whisky brand Chivas at a theme party in Shanghai. The Pernod Ricard-owned brand will become an official partner of NBA China. Chivas will "launch a series of promotional campaigns throughout the country," including games between the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves in Shenzhen (Oct. 5) and Shanghai (Oct. 8) (YUTANG SPORTS, 9/5).

League Championship side Queens Park Rangers announced a partnership with Sportito Fantasy Sports as its official fantasy sports partner for the '17-18 season. It is the club's first fantasy sports partner (QPR). 

Paris St. Germain Handball signed a three-year partnership with work recruitment platform onvabosser.fr. The platform will be the club's official recruiter through '20. Onvabosser will receive brand visibility on LED screens during home matches and a presence on the club's digital platforms (SPORTBUZZ BUSINESS, 9/6).
