Image On Social Media Suggests Tottenham's Stadium To Be Sponsored By FedEx

A computer-generated image "doing rounds on social media apparently shows plans" for what White Hart Lane's replacement is "set to become" in a £150M ($195.5M) sponsorship deal, according to Sam Morgan of THE SUN. Club execs believe the new home will "cost in the region" of £750M ($977.8M) -- which will be "part-bankrolled by a lucrative sponsorship deal." Spurs Chair Daniel Levy "already confirmed the new ground will not be called White Hart Lane." The computer-generated image suggests the club is "looking at a deal with delivery service FedEx." The company's name "can be seen on two sides of the roof" and there is a sign saying "FedEx Stadium." There is "no indication this image is official or that any agreement with FedEx is in place" (THE SUN, 9/5).
