ManU midfielder PAUL POGBA helped launch UEFA's new Respect campaign to "promote greater inclusion, diversity and accessibility in football." The France int'l attended the #EqualGame event with the hashtag #Equal "in his hair and spoke of the importance of the campaign," which has evolved from UEFA's "No to Racism" initiative (PA, 8/23). ... MICK SCHUMACHER, the 18-year-old son of seven-time Formula 1 world champion MICHAEL, will demonstrate "one of his father's Benettons at the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend." Family spokesperson SABINE KEHM confirmed that Mick will drive a '94-spec Benetton, "to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Michael's first F1 race win at Spa in '92." Michael scored the "first of his all-time record 91 wins at the Belgian GP" (AUTOSPORT, 8/24). ... The Court of Justice in Rio de Janeiro ordered the arrest of former Brazilian footballer ROBERTO CARLOS on Wednesday "because of a delay in the payment of three months of alimony for two of his children." BARBARA THURLER, the mother of the two children, filed a lawsuit that said R$61,000 ($19,443) was owed (ESPN.com, 8/24). ... Cricketer JIMMY NEESHAM is "keen to go" and New Zealand Cricket is "unlikely to block" the player from taking his place in the World XI in Pakistan next month. All that is left for NZC is to issue the required no objection certificate, "which it is likely to do on Friday." Assuming he is named, Neesham will be the first New Zealand cricketer to play a top-level match in Pakistan since '03 (STUFF, 8/24).
