Marketplace Roundup: AC Milan Announces Four-Year Partnership With LaPresse

Serie A side AC Milan announced a "new four-year partnership" with Italian news agency LaPresse. The company will be listed as Milan's "exclusive photographic agency," and will "distribute all photographic content nationally and internationally from the club's private and public events." The material will be distributed in Italy through LaPresse's "publishing and online platforms." Meanwhile, the overseas images will be "made available" by LaPresse's network of int'l partners (SOCCEREX, 8/24).

The Argentine Superliga will continue its principal sponsorship agreement with oil brand Axion in a deal worth 95M Argentine pesos ($5.5M) per year. Axion will remain the naming rights sponsor of the trophy “that the winner of the Superliga receives” (LA NACION, 8/24).

Premier League side Crystal Palace is partnering with ticket resale service Twickets to enable its season ticket holders the opportunity to resell their seat for individual games they can no longer attend. Tickets offered for sale will be sold through the Twickets platform, where they can be purchased safely and securely (Crystal Palace).

Bali Int'l Triathlon named nutrition company Herbalife its title sponsor for the third consecutive year. The Herbalife Bali Triathlon 2017 will be held at Mertasari Beach in Sanur, Bali, on Oct. 15. More than 2,000 participants are expected to take part in this year's race (Herbalife).

The 2017 Pirelli Belgian Grand Prix this weekend will host an improved Fan Festival experience with interactive contests, new activities and live music for racegoers to sample. This Grand Prix will see the introduction of an interactive social wall and more show cars live on display, including one from Michael Schumacher's collection (Formula 1).

League One side Walsall extended its deal with regeneration specialist St. Francis Group for another season. St. Francis Group will continue to sponsor the Community Stand, and within that will also be giving away 300 tickets to Walsall fans in the local community to see first team games across the '17-18 season (Walsall).
