ManU Players Featured In Adidas' 'Here To Create' Commercial

ManU's new adidas advert "is as bizarre as you would expect any video involving puppeteers, a rabbit and eight Paul Pogbas to be," according to Will Griffee of the London DAILY MAIL. The one-minute long "Here to Create" commercial features ManU players as they have never been seen in a "disorientating video." It begins with an aerial shot of Old Trafford before things "rapidly become more surreal." Ander Hererra "performs keepy-uppies" in between two artificial speakers before it cuts to "two puppeteers playing with the Spaniard and his compatriot Juan Mata." In a "totally unrelated scene, Jesse Lingard is dancing in a crowd," followed by David de Gea "taking out some aggression" on a drum set. No ManU ad "would be complete without a Paul Pogba cameo," and adidas got its money's worth, with eight versions of the Frenchman "staring back down the camera" (DAILY MAIL, 8/14).
