Marketplace Roundup: Eintracht Frankfurt Renews With Helaba

Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt renewed its partnership with Helaba and expanded its agreement with Frankfurter Sparkasse. The club secured a one-year extension with Helaba, which will see the financial institution continue as a second-tier premium partner until the end of the '17-18 season. When Eintracht’s contract with the banking group expires, the German company’s subsidiary, Frankfurter Sparkasse, will "absorb the commitment and become the club’s sole premium partner" until '20. According to Sponsors.de, the deals are worth €1M ($1.1M) per year (SOCCEREX, 6/22).

League Championship side Burton Albion announced Tempobet agreed to a new deal to remain as the primary partner and shirt sponsor of the club for the '17-18 season. Last year's agreement was the biggest in the club's history. Tempobet will also continue to be prominently advertised throughout the Pirelli Stadium, while also featuring on the club's training tops (Burton Albion). 

Australian Football League club Hawthorn extended its mental health program, announcing a new partnership with non-profit organization Love Me Love You. With former player Lance Picioane as its founder and CEO, Love Me Love You strives to empower young adults to help overcome the stigma surrounding mental health (Hawthorn). 

Indian Super League side Delhi Dynamos signed a partnership deal with Doha-based sports facility Aspire Academy. Aspire Academy coaches, talent scouts and analysts will travel to Delhi to "help develop the club's existing talent and promote best practice in scouting for the club's youth development programs" (GOAL, 6/22).

AFL side Port Adelaide partnered with Kitman Labs to optimize athlete performance and reduce injury risk (Port Adelaide). 

Thai restaurant The Pizza Company, which is part of The Minor Food Group, has become the co-sponsor of the Optimist World Championship 2017. The sailing competition will run from July 11-21 at the Royal Varuna Yacht Club in Pattaya, Thailand (ASIA SPONSORSHIP NEWS, 6/20).
