Scottish Club Rangers Store Sells Out Of Home Jerseys By Mid-Day

The Scottish Premiership side Rangers Megastore sold out of adult home strips in under three hours on Thursday -- less than a day after the Ibrox club revealed its "long-running feud with Mike Ashley and Sports Direct was finally over," according to the Scotland DAILY RECORD. Supporters "flocked" to the shop at Ibrox to get their hands on the Puma kit after boycotting the strip over a deal that saw Sports Direct get 93p to the pound for every shirt sold. That seven-year contract was "ripped up" on Wednesday as "both parties shook on a new one-year agreement which will see Rangers keep the vast majority of profits from kit sales." Fans queued outside of the store on Thursday and a statement from Rangers Supporters Liaison Officer Greg Marshall on Twitter "confirmed adult home jerseys had sold out before mid day" (DAILY RECORD, 6/22).
