Everton Unveils '17-18 Home Kit Featuring Former Player's Silhouette, New Sponsor

Everton revealed its home kit for the '17-18 season, with former player Dixie Dean "on the back of the shirt and new sponsor SportPesa on the front," according to Joe Strange of the London DAILY MAIL. The latest Umbro design also "sees the return of the classic diamond pattern down both the sleeves of the shirt and on the shorts." The kit -- which is comprised of a traditional royal blue shirt with navy panels, white shorts and white socks -- was "unveiled as part of the Together Blue campaign, which celebrates the strong local contingent in the Blues squad." The Together Blue campaign was "inspired by club legend Dean," who scored 60 goals during the '27-28 season. A "small motif" of Dean is featured on the back of the neck of the shirt after Evertonians voted for it through the club's official fans' forum (DAILY MAIL, 5/16).
