Serie A side Palermo made its second change of head coach this season by replacing "top-flight novice" ROBERTO DE ZERBI with former Chievo Manager EUGENIO CORINI. The Serie A "basement boys" lost seven games in a row. A statement on Palermo's official website said that Corini "would take control of first-team affairs" (PA, 12/1). ... The Japanese Basketball Association announced Thursday that it has "parted company with men's national team Manager KENJI HASEGAWA." With "an eye on the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the association is drawing up a list of foreign candidates to replace the 56-year-old Hasegawa." Under Hasegawa, Japan's men "failed to secure a spot at the Rio Olympics" (KYODO, 12/1). ... FABIO FOGNINI confirmed that FRANCO DAVIN is his new coach. The Italian player "posted a photo of the two during offseason training." Davin is "set to join Fognini on tour next season." The Argentine coach previously worked with JUAN MARTIN DEL POTRO (TENNIS, 11/29). ... Argentine PABLO MARINI was on Thursday named coach of Liga MX side Monarcas Morelia. His "task will be to help the club avoid relegation." He replaces ROBERTO HERNÁNDEZ (ESPN.com, 12/1). ... MILOS RAONIC "parted company" with coach CARLOS MOYA. Former French Open champion Moya, 40, joined Raonic's team in January and "helped the 25-year-old Canadian" reach the final of Wimbledon in July, where he lost to ANDY MURRAY. Raonic "confirmed the split on Instagram" and said that the pair remain "close friends" (BBC, 11/30).
