Former Valencia VP Miguel Zorío Proposes To Purchase Current Owner Peter Lim's Shares

Former La Liga side Valencia VP Miguel Zorío, who is currently a shareholder in the club, "has written to current Owner Peter Lim to propose a purchase that would aim to return Valencia to Valencians," according to SUPERDEPORTE. Under the proposal, "within five years, fans would provide most of the money to buy the shares." Zorío, who was VP under Vicente Soriano, "also explained that the objective would be to distribute the social capital among the shareholders so that they can regain control of Valencia." The proposal "also included" a threat: "in the case, which is probable, that Lim initially refuses to return Valencia CF to Valencians, we will create every difficulty possible in any operation in which you try to sell the shares to another investor" (SUPERDEPORTE, 11/30).
