Marketplace Roundup: Man City Names Valvoline Official Motor Lubricants Partner

Man City unveiled Valvoline as its official automotive lubricants partner. The motor oil company signed a multi-year agreement with the club. Supporters will be at the forefront of the partnership as both parties collaborate on a series of marketing campaigns (Man City). 

The Secondary Schools Cricket League will "place significant emphasis on the development of next generation of female cricketers over the next three years" after signing a $1.2M deal with cable TV provider Flow. The new SSCL corporate sponsor was unveiled at a press conference at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, on Tuesday when it was revealed that the investment would cover the SSCL’s Boys U14 Division as well as a Girls Lower Division Forms 1-3 and the SSCL Girls Hardball InterZone competition, "which teams will start preparing for next month" (TRINIDAD EXPRESS, 10/26). 

British Gymnastics and Boots teamed up to launch a new campaign to get people active "as well as helping raise money to fund projects for disadvantaged children and young people" around the U.K. (BBC, 10/24).
