Media Notes: Scandinavian Broadcaster MTG Partners With NFL In Five-Year Deal

Scandinavian broadcaster MTG and the NFL have signed a new five-year deal, which sees it holding onto the sports franchise until Super Bowl LVI in '22. A full roster of NFL regular-season games, playoffs and the Super Bowl will continue to be available on MTG’s TV channels and Viaplay video streaming service in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland for the next five years. Additionally, MTG is now also the NFL’s Nordic media partner for the NFL Network channel (WORLD SCREEN, 10/19).

Infront Sports & Media renewed its media rights agreement with national public broadcaster RTV Slovenija for another Int'l Ski Federation (FIS) World Cup cycle until the '20-21 season -- including the popular Slovenian ski events in Kranjska Gora, Maribor and Planica. For the first time, the agreement comprises all FIS disciplines including the FIS World Cups in Alpine, Cross Country, Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined, Snowboard and Freestyle skiing. As part of the long-term partnership, RTV will once again handle the media production of the Slovenian events (Infront).
